Isaac Regional Council advises residents of Nebo and surrounds that Nebo library branch will be closed for approximately eight weeks from:
Monday 10 May 2021
For the safety of the public external site works also require the temporary closure of the driveway/walkthrough area between the library and museum, used for side gate access to Nebo State School.
The Reynolds Street office in Nebo will be the first Council Community Hub, creating an exciting new venue where Isaac residents can undertake Council business and engage in community programs and events.
During the temporary closure free internet access will be available via a public access computer in the foyer; however, the free public WiFi network will be unavailable. The library programming for families will continue as we head outside into local parks while the new community hub is built. Patrons wishing to return borrowings or reserve other library resources can do so via the customer service counter.
Council’s Nebo customer service counter will operate as normal. Patrons are advised there will be increased noise due to construction activity, and they may prefer to manage their transaction via telephone by calling 1300 ISAACS.
Council appreciates the community's patience whilst these improvement works are undertaken.
Isaac Libraries does provide free services online, 24 hours 7 days a week. All is needed is an Isaac Library membership.
For more information about Isaac Libraries or how to become a member visit your local library or please contact Council on 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227).
