Blackall combined agents yarded 1676 at last week's prime and store sale. A good yarding of heavy cattle saw a very strong cow market with a small yarding of very good bullocks meeting strong demand. A small yarding of store cattle met a strong market with competition from local restockers.

The yarding was drawn from Hughenden,Cloncurry,Boulia,Alpha, Julia Creek, Richmond, Jundah, Tambo, Barcaldine, Isisford, Yaraka, Winton, Jericho and Blackall.
