THE HIVE | PROGRESS UPDATE – 11 MAY
Central Coast Council 11 May 2021

Our excitement builds as work on the Hive’s main building in Ulverstone has progressed quickly over the past few months.

The Hive will present a range of exhibitions and experiences for the community and for visitors. These include a multi-media dome and planetarium and the Science Centre’s interactive exhibits will be sure to amaze. Our team and volunteers are working with the community to develop new displays from the History Museum and private collections. Leven Regional Arts and the North West Wood Craft Guild will call the Hive home on the ground floor while the café will provide visitors a range of great food and beverage services. Last but by no means least, three incredible pieces of art by local artists will be installed in the building.

We all look forward to sharing the Hive space with you. This Council project has been supported by funding from the Commonwealth government’s Building Better Regions Fund and the Tasmanian government.
