Reporting to the Team Leader – Trades Services, this position is responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance of Council’s Water & Sewerage reticulation and plumbing infrastructure, as well as carrying out new works such as pipe laying and service connections.
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in a similar role within the commercial / domestic plumbing environment Previous experience supervising an Apprentice would be favourable Relevant Plumber Trade Qualifications C class drivers’ licence Construction Blue/White CardFor this position we offer:
Salary $54,467.12 per annum + Allowances: Over Award Payment ($17,000 per annum) Housing Allowance ($100 per week) Locality Allowance (varies, depending on location within the Region) Construction Workers Allowance ($63 per 76-hour fortnight) Tool Allowance ($54 per 76-hour fortnight) Nominally 76 hours per fortnight 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% leave loading 12% Superannuation in accordance with Council policy Fortnightly RDO’s in accordance with Council policy Tool of Trade Vehicle (at no expense to the employee!)OUR COMMITMENT TO A DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE WORKPLACE
