Thanks to generous funding from the NSW EPA, Snowy Monaro Regional Council provides free community recycling facilities for residents in our region, diverting tonnes of recyclable material from landfill every year.
The EPA seeks feedback from communities across the state on an annual basis to learn about how people recycle waste and what their attitudes are around waste and recycling.
The survey is open from now until Wednesday 30 June 2021. Information collected will be used to shape the future projects for the EPA and relevant funding grants.
“The people of the Snowy Monaro have provided Council with invaluable feedback on waste and recycling this year,” said Mayor Peter Beer, Snowy Monaro Regional Council.
“Now the community has the opportunity to have their opinions heard by an important agency of the state government, and the feedback they provide will benefit not only our own region, but the whole state of New South Wales.”
“I encourage everyone to have their say before 30 June on this important topic,” said Mayor Beer.
