You’ve told us what type of artwork you’d like to see in Peterson Street Reserve, so we are now on the hunt for a fabulous artist to interpret the brief and design it. There was strong feedback to ensure the new artwork is durable and graffiti-proof and suggested themes include something that acknowledged Bayside’s indigenous heritage, related to youth, colourful or representative of the history of the area. We have advertised an Expression of Interest for artists to apply on our Eprocure website. A panel will then shortlist the applicants and invite the top three to develop their proposals to commission stage. Please subscribe to the Peterson Street Reserve Public Art project page on our website to be kept up-to-date.
