Due to the COVID-19 circuit breaker period currently in place throughout Victoria, Gannawarra Shire Council is rescheduling the performance of Jude Perl’s award-winning show, I Have a Face.
The show, which was to occur on Friday 4 June at the Leitchville Memorial Hall, will now be held at the same venue on Friday, 25 June at 7.30pm.
“With Council adhering to the COVID-19 circuit breaker period and the uncertainty regarding what restrictions will be in place on 4 June, Council has made the proactive decision to move this event to later in June,” Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly.
“Jude’s award-winning talents and the I Have a Face show have resonated with residents, with this performance recording high ticket sales.”
All tickets purchased for the 4 June event can be used for the 25 June performance, with anyone unable to attend encouraged to contact Council on (03) 5450 9333 or email [email protected] to arrange a refund.
The performance will be the first hybrid performance presented by Creative Gannawarra, with the show to be livestreamed for an online audience.
“The Leitchville community looks forward to hosting this event, which was initially postponed in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions,” Mr O’Reilly said.
“We are fortunate to be able to offer the event, with residents having the option to attend the show in-person or virtually.”
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 online, with bookings essential. For online ticket holders, a link to the livestreaming will be sent by email, along with all relevant information to view the performance prior the show.
Those attending the performance at Leitchville Memorial Hall will have a light supper provided by the Leitchville Memorial Hall Committee following the performance.
The event is suitable for adults (18+). Tickets for the in-person show or livestreaming event can be purchased online at https://www.trybooking.com/BHFXI, or in person from Leitchville Post Office or from Council’s Customer Service Centres at Cohuna and Kerang.
I Have a Face is supported by Gannawarra Shire Council, Regional Arts Victoria and Creative Victoria.
