Gympie Regional Council, in partnership with the Queensland Government and Fraser Coast Regional Council, is offering local businesses the opportunity to learn how to stand out as a potential supplier for government projects.

Learn how to register for supply chain opportunities and how to pre-qualify to become an eligible supplier to state and local governments. Registration for this free online event starts on 24 May 2021.

Gympie region Mayor, Glen Hartwig is encouraging local businesses to take advantage.

“Often it’s a case of putting your best foot forward and if you are wanting to know how to work with Council or the State Government tune in.”

This virtual webcast series is designed to help your business improve its approach to tendering, as well as accessing state and local government supply chain opportunities.

The webcasts will cover: • the latest updates on regional projects • how to create your own powerful business capability statement • the top 10 tips for tendering success • how to register for local and state supply chain opportunities • how to prequalify to become an eligible supplier to the Departments of Energy and Public Works and Transport and Main Roads, as well as local government • how to access information about new supplier support programs and service offerings that can assist your business.
