Footpath upgrade works, Dysart and Middlemount

Council is advising community members in Dysart and Middlemount of upgrades to footpaths in selected locations.

Isaac Regional Council is advising community members in Dysart and Middlemount of upgrades to footpaths in selected locations.

Works for the footpaths are scheduled to occur from:

1 June 2021 to 30 July 2021 6am to 6pm weekdays, 6am to 2pm Saturdays Weather permitting

The paths to be upgraded are outlined below:  

Town

Street

Dysart

Shannon Crescent and Christian Street – installing a pram ramp and path upgrade. Powel Street – replacement of path to remove trip hazard. Webley Way – installing pram ramps. Beardmore Street and Adair Street - installing two pram ramps. Beardmore Street and McCartney Street – installing a pram ramp. Brown Street – replacement of path to remove trip hazard.

Middlemount

Clarence Baker Drive and Centenary Drive North- installing a pram ramp on the east side. South side of Centenary Drive North - replacement of path to remove trip hazard. Alfred Quinn Drive and James Randell Dr west side – installing a new double width ramp. North side of James Randell Drive - replacement of path to remove trip hazard. James Randell Drive and Centenary Drive North – installing double pram ramp.

Pedestrians and motorists are advised to maintain caution near work areas, abide by signage in place at the site and follow the clearly marked and barricaded safe detours.

The work is funded under the Queensland Government’s School Transport Infrastructure Program.
