Tieri water restrictions relax to level zero

Water restrictions in Tieri relax to level zero from 7 June 2021. It comes as the water treatment plant returns to full capacity.

The town had been placed on a series of temporary restrictions after emergency works at the plant in late 2020.

Works to bring the plant back to full capacity were slowed down by parts supply issues.

Council thanks the Tieri community and Glencore for their patience and collaboration with this lengthy process.
