Repairs for sewage pump stations

Council will undertake $1.3 million of remediation works at three sewage pump stations.

Condition assessments have found the pump stations, two in Babinda and one in Portsmith, require repairs and renewals to accommodate the future needs of the respective catchments.

The projects have been packaged together due to the similarity of the work and to take advantage of subsequent cost efficiencies.

Koppens Developments Pty Ltd has been awarded the $897,327 contract.

This resolution needs to be ratified at the next Ordinary Meeting of Council, to be held on 23 June 2021.
