Feedback sought on cemetery plan

The future layout of grave sites, columbaria walls, mausoleums and landscape features are being considered as part of a detailed master plan for the Forest View Cemetery.

The master plan aims to guide Council to ensure the cemetery meets the future needs of the community through a coordinated, integrated and contemporary approach, incorporating best practice operations and design.

It also considers the location of key infrastructure, the need to meet community and cultural expectations, and future expansion.

Feedback is being sought on the draft master plan, which is open for consultation until 8am on 21 June 2021 and can be accessed via the “Have Your Say” feature on Council’s website.
