Over 1,000 locals told us how the Northern Beaches could be even better

If you live on the Northern Beaches, you know there’s no place like it. For many locals, it’s not just a beautiful place, it’s your home, and where you and your loved ones feel safe, included and connected.

While creating our Draft Better Together Social Sustainability Strategy, more than 1,000 people like you shared how the Northern Beaches community could be even better. 

Jonas said, “I love that all the kids on our street can play together and grow up knowing that their immediate world is a good one.”

Giane told us, “Having moved to the Northern Beaches as a young adult just over a decade ago, my word for this welcoming place is gratitude. Gratitude for the possibilities, now extended to my children.”

At Council, we want to make sure the Northern Beaches continues to be a place that you feel safe, included and connected.

That’s why we have created the Draft Better Together Social Sustainability Strategy 2040. It builds on our community’s strengths and aims to make sure the Northern Beaches is an area people want to live, work and visit into the future.
