Durack Civil Pty Ltd is undertaking causeway construction works at Shanty Creek, Mareeba, on behalf of Council. During construction Shanty Creek Road is closed to through traffic. Construction started 14 June 2021 with the works expected to take four weeks to complete, weather permitting. Depending on construction there may be temporary access to local traffic only.
