Follow current restrictions when visitingFace masks continue to be mandatory both indoor and outdoors.
Please do not visit a Council facility if you are feeling unwell or have been tested for COVID-19 and are waiting on a test result.
To see the latest restrictions, visit the Victorian Government Coronavirus (COVID-19) website.
Checking in now mandatoryChecking in via the Victorian Government QR code service is now mandatory in a Council facilities, shops, cafes and other businesses etc regardless of how long you visit.
Checking in helps with contact tracing and keeps Victoria safe and open. When you check-in, you create a record of the time and date you visited a venue. This means that if there is a COVID-19 outbreak, contact tracers can quickly access your contact information and get in touch with you, if you’ve visited a public exposure site.
TestingIf you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should get tested - this includes cold or flu like symptoms, such as a cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath or runny nose, even if these are mild.
The closest testing sites are at Sandringham Hospital (walk up) and Brighton Golf Course (drive through) – see location details.
VaccinationsCouncil is not a COVID-19 vaccination provider but there are number of vaccination providers in Bayside or within a short distance of Bayside including at Sandringham Hospital.
