COVID-19 restrictions have eased from 11.59pm Thursday 17 June including the removal of the 25km travel limit. Travel between metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria can resume.
Public gatherings of up to 20 people can occur outside and up to 2 adults can visit you at home together or separately (dependents excluded from the cap).
Competitive community sport can re-commence and we will be supporting Bayside sports clubs to make this happen.
Masks will continue to be required indoors but they will no longer be required outdoors – however they’ll still be recommended when you can’t maintain physical distancing.

Council facilitiesThe customer service front counter at the Bayside Corporate Centre - 76 Royal Avenue Sandringham is open.
Brighton, Sandringham, Hampton and Beaumaris libraries are now also open for visitors.
The Bayside Gallery has reopened from Friday 18 June.
TestingIf you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should get tested - this includes cold or flu like symptoms, such as a cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath or runny nose, even if these are mild.
The main COVID-19 test site in Bayside is at Sandringham Hospital (walk up).
The test clinic at Brighton Golf Course has now closed.

Checking in now mandatoryChecking in via the Victorian Government QR code service is now mandatory in a Council facilities, shops, cafes and other businesses etc regardless of how long you visit.
Checking in helps with contact tracing and keeps Victoria safe and open. When you check-in, you create a record of the time and date you visited a venue. This means that if there is a COVID-19 outbreak, contact tracers can quickly access your contact information and get in touch with you, if you’ve visited a public exposure site.
VaccinationsCouncil is not a COVID-19 vaccination provider but there are number of vaccination providers in Bayside or within a short distance of Bayside.
Vaccination providers include Sandringham Hospital, Monash Moorabbin, Monash Clayton, Kingston Centre, Prahran Town Hall and numerous GP clinics throughout Bayside.
