Level 1 water restrictions for Capella

Water restrictions in Capella will increase to level one from Monday 21 June 2021.

These restrictions apply to the use of urban treated and raw water. They do not apply to:

Rain, grey or private bore water. Properties holding their own water allocations or license. Properties with a council exemption.

The level of the combined Capella Dams was 39.92% as at 7 June 2021, triggering the water restriction increase as per council’s procedure.

The main difference in the change from level zero to level one is shorter hours for lawn sprinklers and a three-days per week limit for micro-spray and drip irrigation systems.
