T-MSC2021-09 BARANG STREET WATER MAIN UPGRADE

Mareeba Shire Council hereby invites written tenders for the provision of all works associated with the construction of the Barang Street Water Main Upgrade. The works shall include but not be limited to: • Site establishment/dis-establishment • Site Survey – Contractor to verify all service locations, invert levels, surface levels, clearances and covers • Temporary Fencing and traffic management • Environmental and Construction control plans • Supply and installation of all materials • Testing and commissioning as specified • Removal and disposal of old valves and surrounds etc • Obtain all required Permits and consent from the relevant authorities • Protect all existing services and structures close to new pipelines and support as required • Contractor shall reinstate all pavement, kerb and channel, verges, pathways, parks and driveways to match existing • The Contractor shall not cut down any trees or remove vegetation for the constructions works. If any trees or vegetation is to be removed, the Contract shall seek written approval from the Superintendent. • Electric Ants may be present within the vicinity of constructions works. The Contractor shall consult Bio security prior to construction and ensure compliance with the Bio security Act of 2014

A Non mandatory Site Inspection will be held 9.00am Thursday 24 June 2021at Barang Street Kuranda.

All enquiries or clarifications must be via the online forum which will close 7 days prior to closing time. Council officers are unable to respond to verbal or emailed enquiries.

The closing time for electronic lodgement of Tenders is 11.00 am Monday 12 July 2021.

Regulation 228(7) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 may be applied.

Tender will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
