PUBLIC NOTICE: Bedford Weir amenities closed

UPDATE 9.50 am 25 June 2021:

The works are now complete and the public amenities building at Bedford Weir near Blackwater has been reopened for public use.

Previously:

The public amenities building at the Bedford Weir near Blackwater will be temporarily closed from 23 June 2021 until further notice while maintenance works are carried out.

Council‘s water services team and contractors will be replacing a number of pipes, which have become blocked by mineral build-up.

To complete these works, water will need to be shut off to the amenities building.

The works are expected to be completed on the weekend.
