Council is calling on residents to nominate their neighbours, family, friends or themselves in the Campbelltown City Jubilee Awards.

The awards recognise people who have lived in Campbelltown for 50 years or more and 30 years or more for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people.

People can also nominate business or organisations that have served the city for 50 years or more.

“The Jubilee Awards are an expression of gratitude from our community to those residents and businesses who have been a part of our city for many years,” Mayor George Brticevic said.

“Campbelltown is a place that has been built on a strong foundation of community spirit and contributed to by the many wonderful residents who chose to make this city their long-term home,” Cr Brticevic said.

“These awards recognise all manner of contributions; from your many years as a citizen of our community, to the work done by many great groups and people to help make Campbelltown a better place to live,” he said.

Nominations are open throughout the year.
