To keep our community up to date with key Council decisions, outcomes and plans; here is a snapshot summary from Council’s Wednesday 23 June ordinary meeting.
Vibrant CommunitiesPLA0197/20-535 and 615 Bloomfield Road, Lillico
Council approved Planning Permit PLA0197/20-535 and 615 Bloomfield Road Lillico subject to conditions of layout not altered, standard subdivision conditions, Section 173 Agreement and expiry.
Western Park Facilities Redevelopment Tender
Council accepted the tender submitted by Allchin Commercial Pty Ltd for the the Western Park Facilities Redevelopment for the total sum of $1,355,617 (excluding GST) and allocated an additional $65,562 of contingency to the contract for use by the Project Manager to complete associated works on site. Council delegated authority to the CEO to sign the contract documents after they have been prepared and execute the award of the contract.
Organisational Excellence2021/22 Annual Budget and 2021/22 Revenue and Rating Plan
Council adopted the Annual Budget 2021/22 and the Revenue and Rating Plan 2021/22.
Long Term Infrastructure Plan 2021/22- 2030/31
Council adopted the Long Term Infrastructure Plan 2021/22- 2030/31 that included the proposed 2021/22 Capital Works Program. Council will notify those who lodged a written submission of Councils decision and for the reasons for the decision in accordance with Councils Engagement Policy.
Delegated Planning Committee and Planning Application Call
Council adopted the Planning Application Call-in Procedure (June 2021) and endorsed a further report about the merits of a Delegated Planning Committee in 12 months time.
Instrument of Appointment and Authorisation under the Planning and Environment Act 1987
Council authorised the appropriate Baw Baw Shire Council Staff under section 147(4) of the planning and Environment Act 1987, section 224 of the Local Government Act 2020 and seals the instrument.
In line with easing of restrictions across regional Victoria , Council Meetings will be open to members of the public.
Commencing with the Wednesday 23 June 2021 Council Meeting:
Numbers are strictly limited to 30 guests (not including Councillors and staff) who must register via Councils website to attend. QR Codes sign in, physical distancing measures and the wearing of masks will be in place at all meetings.Meetings will remain available to the public via live stream, and community submissions can be made in writing.
The agenda for the next meeting will be available online the Friday prior to the meeting.
