Changes to J.M Robson’s Indoor Pool Winter Weekend Opening Hours

As part of Council’s ongoing review of service levels and community demand, changes will occur to the J.M Robson Aquatic Centre operating hours for the winter period.
Aligned with Lithgow City Council’s commitment to continuous improvement and a focus on cost efficiency, reviews of patronage at the J M Robson Aquatic Centre have occurred. It has become apparent that after 4pm on winter weekends, the facility is subject to minimal attendance. Often there are less than three people attending between 4pm and 6pm.
In line with this identified demand, commencing Saturday 3 July 2021 the closing time of the indoor pool will change to 4pm on the weekends, Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays. These hours will continue through until the 4 September 2021 when we will return to our standard summer opening hours.
