Community Nursery Gala Day

Come down to the Bayside Community Nursery Gala Day 9am – 2pm on Saturday 3 July to discover how indigenous plants can enhance your garden.

Local species thrive under our local conditions and planting indigenous plants in your garden provides habitat and food to attract local birds, insects and animals.

Established in 1978 the Nursery is believed to the first in the world devoted entirely to the propagation of locally indigenous plants.

Come and grab a BBQ snag and join our wonderful Nursery volunteers at the Gala Day, who can advise on the best indigenous plants for your garden.
