Testing

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should get tested - this includes cold or flu like symptoms, such as a cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath or runny nose, even if these are mild.

The main COVID-19 test site in Bayside is at Sandringham Hospital (walk up) with a testing site at Brighton Golf Course opening soon.

To check testing locations, opening hours and wait times visit the Victorian Government Coronavirus website.

Travelling

If you are planning to get away intra or interstate in the upcoming school holidays please check the Victorian Government Coronavirus travel restrictions website.

Please also check restrictions applying to your destination:

Checking in now mandatory

Checking in via the Victorian Government QR code service is now mandatory in a Council facilities, shops, cafes and other businesses etc regardless of how long you visit.

Checking in helps with contact tracing and keeps Victoria safe and open. When you check-in, you create a record of the time and date you visited a venue. This means that if there is a COVID-19 outbreak, contact tracers can quickly access your contact information and get in touch with you, if you’ve visited a public exposure site.
