School holidays are jam packed with entertainment for young people in Corangamite Shire. There will be a live musical play and five movies to enjoy during the holidays.
Corangamite Shire Council Manager Growth and Engagement, Rory Neeson said brand new projection, sound and lighting systems will mean the shows are better than ever at the Theatre Royal in Camperdown.
“The live show ‘Billie & The Outback Dinosaurs’ is co-written by Australian comedian, film director, screenwriter and author Tim Ferguson,” Mr Neeson said.
“It’s about Billie who lives in regional Australia and likes making new inventions from old junk.
“When she runs away from school to escape a gang of bullies, she stumbles across a lost valley full of friendly Australian dinosaurs and has to keep them secret from the bullies.”
‘Billie & The Outback Dinosaurs’ will be on Thursday 8 July at 10.30 am.
There will be a $5 entry per child to cover the cost of bringing this fantastic live production to Corangamite. Bookings are required here or by calling Council on 5593 7100.
The school holiday program will also screen five free movies.
