Keep the kids entertained and creative this school holidays! Presenting creative exploratory workshops, and award winning puppetry performances for Kyneton Town Hall's school holiday program. There’s plenty to entertain and delight.
Angela Hughes, Director Planning and Environment invited kids of all ages to get involved this school holidays.
“From workshops to storytelling and shows, Council’s school holiday program gets young minds thinking, creating and connecting,” said Ms Hughes.
KTH KIDS - Wild City workshopUsing sculpture as a medium for creative learning, this workshop introduces children to urban ecology and the real issues that animals face in an increasingly human built world.
Wild City is an art based workshop for children using sculpture as a medium for creative learning. Children use the sculptural building blocks to collaboratively explore ideas and get hands on with making their own 'Wild City'.
Presented by local artist Kathy Holowko, in busy, human centric environments, Kathy searches for narratives and connections that can help reconsider our world as a cyclical, and shared habitat.

New Owner - Puppetry, storytelling, action and animationBart is a boisterous puppy waiting to be chosen from the animal shelter. Mabel is a lonely widow, trying to fill the hole in her heart. The day they find each other is the beginning of Bart's next adventure.
New Owner is a sensitive tale of friendship, loss and new beginnings, told through a dog's eyes.
Recommended for children aged 7+ as it contains scenes of sadness and loss that may be upsetting for very small children.
