Do you want to meet new people while exploring your creative side? Then be sure to browse the latest copy of the Wyreena’s 2021 Term 3 brochure (pdf, 3MB).
Each term, Wyreena offers a range of short and ongoing courses in the creative arts.
Courses are run by qualified teachers and cater for people of all ages and abilities in a variety of art forms, including painting and drawing, pottery, sculpture, mosaics, relaxation classes and much more.
There are a host of benefits to learning to paint and draw. It can improve your concentration, foster your creative growth, build confidence and enhance fine motor skills.
Wyreena’s program also offers one-day Makers workshops, classes for adults with additional needs and an age-streamed children’s art program conveniently held after school hours during school terms.
Create your own signature soaps and scents using marbled and layered effects and fragrances. Also this term are one-day workshops in lino printing, macramé, making your own cheeseboard and serving platters, and a fun ‘Dads with kids pottery’ session inspired by artist James De Russo.
Wyreena offers a relaxed space where children as young as five can get messy, try new things and find creative expression through a range of arts workshops, including mixed media, learning to draw, painting and pottery, while an intermediate art workshop for children aged 11 and over will help those looking to develop their arts skills.
There are wellbeing courses too.
Find your path to tranquillity and wellbeing through weekly classes that explore the gentle movements and postures of Hatha Yoga.
