Upcoming water interruption for parts of Emerald

Maintenance works on water valves and hydrants will lead to temporary water supply interruptions for Daniels, Batts and Hicks streets, Old Sheep Yard Place and the Capricorn Highway in Emerald.

Adjacent and surrounding streets may also be affected.

The works are taking place between 9.00 pm and 12.00 am on 30 June 2021 and water may be switched off for up to 2.5 hours.

Contractor New Plumbing Solutions is carrying out the works. Affected homes have been issued with a letter.

A slight discolouration of water may occur afterwards. People are encouraged to run the water for a short period of time. If the discolouration persists, people are advised to phone 1300 242 686.
