At its Ordinary Council Meeting of 30 June 2021, the Council has endorsed a percentage increase in the differential rate in the dollar. The table below details the percentage increase applied to each zone. Relevant Documents: Proposed 2021-22 Differential Rates Objects and Reasons.PDF

The minimum payment has increased by 2.00% in all zones and the Specified Area Rate cap for the Dalyellup parks and reserves has increased from $192.49 to $240.00. This rate structure was adopted as an alternative recommendation to the original agenda item.

Specified Area Rating (SAR) Basis 2021-22 Endorsed rate in the dollar Minimum Rate Specified Area Rate for Dalyellup Parks & Reserves Maintenance Purpose: Maintenance of Parks and Reserves in Dalyellup GRV 4.9605 cents (to a maximum of $240.00 Per Assessment) Nil A ‘Notice of Intention to Levy Differential Rates’ will be advertised in the South Western Times, the Bunbury Herald and the West Australian. The advert will run for a period of 21 days and during this period, ratepayers and electors are invited to make submissions in respect of the proposed rates, minimum payment and any related matter by 4.00pm on Wednesday 28 July 2021.
