To protect the people of NSW from the evolving COVID-19 outbreak, current stay-at-home orders will be extended until 11.59pm Friday 16 July for Greater Sydney including the Northern Beaches.

Everyone in Greater Sydney must continue to stay at home unless it is for an essential reason.

The reasons you may leave your home include:

Shopping for food or other essential goods and servicesMedical care or compassionate needs (people can leave home to have a COVID-19 vaccination unless you have been identified as a close contact)Exercise outdoors in groups of 10 or fewerEssential work, or education, where you cannot work or study from home.

Council facilities closure extended

Following the latest advice from the Premier and NSW Health, the following Council Services will be closed until 11.59pm Friday 16 July in line with current Health Orders.

Waste Services

All residential waste services will continue as normal. 

All street litter bins will continue to be collected and maintained as normal.

Kimbriki

Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre remains open 7am to 5pm every day. Any changes to opening hours or operations will be published on the website and residents should check before travelling to Kimbriki.

Cleansing

Increased cleansing of public spaces has already begun and will continue.

Childcare

All Childcare Centres, Pre Schools, Occasional Care, Family Day Care centres remain open and operating normal days and hours.
