Whether it is more visual art workshops or leveraging off our local fossicking culture in jewellery making courses, Central Highlands Regional Council is calling for community input on the upcoming Creative Culture Futures & Heritage Action Plan 2022-2024.
Central Highlands Regional Council councillor and chair of local arts and culture advisory committee, Gai Sypher, believes the Creative Culture Futures & Heritage Action Plan is an important part of the regions continued development of strategic and innovative arts and culture service delivery.
‘Going forward this action plan will outline a living and breathing pathway for the regions cultural development welcoming diverse and engaging opportunities to benefit our communities,’ Councillor Gai Sypher said.
‘Arts and cultural inclusion within our region are instrumental for breaking down social barriers and helping us as individuals and a community realise our potential,’ she said.
