Virtual tours to boost library engagement

Cairns Libraries have been awarded a Queensland Government Strategic Priorities Grant for $18,420 to create 3D virtual online tours of all eight library branches and meeting rooms.

The project aims to encourage, increase and extend ongoing community engagement with Cairns Libraries website, collections and physical venues.

The 3D tours will be designed to allow the user to step inside Cairns Libraries using their own device and provide a simple visual platform to assist in making informed decisions about what to do or see during their library visit.
