Testing

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should get tested - this includes cold or flu like symptoms, such as a cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath or runny nose, even if these are mild.

The main COVID-19 test sites in Bayside are at Sandringham Hospital (walk up) and Brighton Golf Course on Dendy Street (drive through).

To check testing locations, opening hours and wait times visit the Victorian Government Coronavirus website.

Checking in

Checking in via the Victorian Government QR code service is mandatory regardless of how long you visit a premises.

Checking in helps with contact tracing and keeps Victoria safe. When you check-in, you create a record of the time and date you visited a venue. This means that if there is a COVID-19 outbreak, contact tracers can quickly access your contact information and get in touch with you, if you’ve visited a public exposure site.

Vaccinations

Council is not a COVID-19 vaccination provider but there are number of vaccination providers in Bayside or within a short distance of Bayside.

Vaccination providers include Sandringham Hospital, Monash Moorabbin, Monash Clayton, Kingston Centre, Prahran Town Hall and numerous GP clinics throughout Bayside.

Find out more about vaccinations.

You can now book vaccination appointments online via the Victorian Government COVID-19 vaccination online booking system or by calling Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398.
