Imagine you’re sitting on the deck of a secluded cabin looking over Pittwater. The sun is warming your face, water glistening, birds chirping, and you’ve not a trouble in the world.
Visit Currawong, a short 25-minute ferry or ten minute water taxi ride from Palm Beach, and this might just be you.
We’re upgrading Magpie, Lorikeet, Wallaby and Possum, four of Currawong’s heritage-listed cabins in early 2022. Renovations will preserve the cabins’ rich history while enhancing guest comfort.
These exciting changes follow the recent transformation of three other cabins Goanna, Blue Tongue and Kookaburra, the games room and landscaping.
Visit and you’ll be surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature. You’ll also enjoy a comfortable stay with renovated bathrooms and kitchens, sweeping timber decks, energy-efficient features and more.
Currawong has a long history as a unique family holiday destination. With unspoiled beaches, scenic nature trails, kayaking, fishing and other sporting activities, many families return again and again. You can relax away from the frantic pace of urban life while the kids explore safely.
These upgrades are thanks to generous funding from NSW Government.
