Gannawarra Shire Council’s Customer Service Offices at Cohuna and Kerang will be closed to face-to-face transactions from Thursday, 22 July following a revision of changes to services due to the current COVID-19 lockdown.
During this time, residents will be able to contact Council during the lockdown period in the following ways:
“Council is playing a proactive role in protecting staff and residents from any potential outbreaks at this time,” Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly said.
“With this in mind, we ask residents for their understanding at this time and look forward to welcoming people back to our Customer Service Centres, programs and services impacted by this lockdown when restrictions ease.”
The altered Customer Service Centre arrangements coincide with service and program changes that are currently in place until restrictions are eased as deemed by the State Government:

“Please note that during this time residents may only leave their home for one of five reasons. These are to shop for food and supplies; authorised work reasons; care and caregiving; exercise for up to two hours and with one other person, or receiving a vaccination,” Mr O’Reilly said.
“Face coverings must be carried at all times, and must be worn indoors and outdoors except within your own home, or if an exemption applies.”
