Various live music locations around Brisbane Thursday, August 5 – Wednesday, August 11, 2021 Brisbane Winter Sessions is a new annual music festival held in August, proudly supported by Brisbane City Council and Triple J, and presented by QMusic. After a challenging past 12 months for the live music industry, Winter Sessions is all about celebrating our city’s amazing live music scene. Taking place in Brissie’s most iconic venues, from the CBD to the suburbs, the Winter Sessions program features a stellar lineup of established and emerging artists, across a wide range of music genres. The inaugural year of this festival includes more than 30 free and ticketed events, with over 100 artists performing in 16 venues. This music festival delivers 6 days and nights of programming, including performances with your favourite Brisbane music legends, as well as an epic street party, and culminates in the ultimate Ekka holiday celebration. Brisbane Winter Sessions will kick off on Thursday 5th August and end on Wednesday 11th August 2021.
