Once again, Council’s rangers have been working hard to support local community groups, including Campbelltown Meals on Wheels, during the current COVID-19 health restrictions.

Rangers are helping several community organisations deliver important food packages to some of the most vulnerable in the community.

“Groups like Campbelltown Meals on Wheels, do some incredibly important work with members of our community who are most vulnerable, particularly during periods such as this,” Mayor George Brticevic said.

“During the last lockdown period, our Rangers and other staff really stepped up to help out and I’m delighted to see them doing this once again,” Mayor George Brticevic said.

Staff use Council-owned vehicles and follow social distancing recommendations when delivering, including leaving meals at the door.

They are also delivering books to people signed up to Council’s home library service.

Rangers are also supporting Campbelltown Arts Centre, delivering creative packs to residents as well as making food deliveries to families who cannot access food hampers.
