COVID-19 closures and cancellations

The following Council facilities and services will be closed in line with the 3-day lockdown that comes into effect at 4pm today.

Indoors

Outdoors

Parks and beaches remain open for exercise, however the following facilities are closed:

Public BBQsFitness equipmentBasketball and tennis courtsBump tracks and BMX tracksThe Esplanade Activity Precinct (skate plaza, bouldering park, beach volleyball courts, multi-purpose court)The Lagoon and Council-run swimming poolsFlecker Gardens

Cancellations

The following programs and events are also cancelled / suspended until further notice:

Active Living free fitness programGreen Space Our Place volunteer programOlympics Live presented by Westpac (Olympic live-stream on the Esplanade)Senior’s Week Positive Ageing Fair, scheduled for Friday 13 August
