Successful buy local program Shop Isaac has been running for over 12 months and is in need of a refresh and Isaac Regional Council are calling on residents, workers and their families to take part in shaping the new look.

The Shop Isaac Logo Competition has launched, and the competition has been extended. Entries close on Tuesday 31 August 2021 at 5pm.

Three finalists will be chosen with the community voting on the competition winner via social media. The winner will walk away with a $500 Shop Isaac gift card.

The theme of the competition is ‘what does Isaac mean to you?’ with entrants able to draw, paint, use mixed media or digitally create their artwork.

Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said the competition is a great way for Isaac residents to put a local stamp on this very important buy local program.

“Supporting local business is important, especially during these trying COVID times. By getting creative it will not only give entrants a chance to shape the future of the program but help them give it a truly local feel.” Mayor Baker said.

“The Isaac is as unique as it is beautiful and I look forward to seeing how our communities are able to convey these qualities in their designs.”

Entrants are encouraged to download the artwork guidelines via Council’s website and submit their artwork via SpeakUp Isaac.
