Council received 1523 maintenance related customer requests in July, up from the 1466 the previous the month.

The increase was attributed to a large number of requested related to footpaths, cycleways, parks and foreshore concerns.

Meanwhile, the Works Maintenance team has started asset inspections in the suburbs, including examinations of footpaths, stormwater systems, street signs, road surfaces and marine structures. These inspections are scheduled during the year to promptly identify repairs required across the city.
