Long Reef project update

Work on the $7.5 million purpose-built clubhouse, storage facility, café and public amenities block at Long Reef is on track.

The impressive structure has been designed to nestle comfortably into the environment and uses lots of natural materials to be sympathetic to its location.

The new site will not only help support the club and its 1000 members to continue to save lives, but it will also provide a family-friendly facility that both residents and visitors can enjoy.

After starting on site in March 2021, work paused briefly for the mandatory COVID shutdown in July, but has now resumed and the project is due for completion in autumn 2022.
