“To ensure compliance with the Public Health Orders, Council has implemented new ways of doing business and modified our operations. In 2020, we developed a Pandemic Plan and should there be a confirmed case of COVID-19 in our Shire we are able to roll-out the plan immediately to ensure the safety of the community and our workforce,” Mr Tory said.
Up until 12:01am on Sunday 22 August 2021 the following changes have been implemented;
- Lachlan Shire Council Administration Buildings in Condobolin and Lake Cargelligo are closed to the public. For all customer service enquiries or to make payments via phone during normal business hours, please call Condobolin on (02) 6895 1900 or Lake Cargelligo on (02) 6898 1722. Alternatively, you can email [email protected] For any urgent matters that require you to attend Council premises please call/email to make an appointment.
- Visitor Information Centres in Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo and Tottenham are closed.
- Condobolin and Lake Cargelligo Libraries are closed. Each branch is available by phone during their normal business hours and online and telephone requests for books will be available with staff providing a delivery service.
- All halls across the Shire are closed. Except for conducting COVID-19 vaccination and/or testing clinics.
- Waste services – there is no change to kerbside collections.
- Waste Facilities (Tips) will be operational to provide service for business that are, allowed to remain open.
- HACC will continue to provide Meals on Wheels and support for vulnerable people, however no group or social activities will be conducted.
- The Child Care Centre will be open and operate as per NSW public school restrictions. - Community Centres and gyms are closed.
- Parks and open spaces are open for the purposes of outdoor exercise according to restrictions.
- Caravan Parks are open for permanent residents, contractor accommodation and travellers already isolating at the caravan park etc.
