Residents are hereby advised that, due to extenuating circumstances the next Ordinary Council Meeting will be held on Thursday 26 August 2021 commencing at 5:00pm.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.

COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVES FOR COMMITTEES

Council appoints community representatives to a number of its committees.

The members of each Council committee are due to be re-appointed at the Ordinary September Council meeting for the period 1 October 2021 - 30 September 2023. Accordingly, nominations are invited for the following community representative positions: -

Nomination forms are available on Council’s Forms webpage or alternatively at Council’s Administration Building.

Nominations will be accepted up until 5:00pm on Friday 27 August 2021.

POSITIONS VACANT

Council is currently inviting applications for the following positions: -

IT Projects Officer

Limited duration appointment up to three (3) years

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated subject to the demonstration of qualifications, skills, and competencies

Works Coordinator - Maintenance

Up to $1222.95 per week

Trainee Bridges and Culverts

Limited duration appointment up to two (2) years

Up to $728.10 per week

Trainee Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

Limited duration appointment up to two (2) years

Up to $728.10 per week

Parks & Gardens Ganger

Limited duration appointment up to twelve (12) months

Up to $1047.30 per week +

$16.70 per week Adverse Working Conditions Allowance
