To celebrate Science Week we brought you a fun, easy Mouldy Bread science experiment, for your kids earlier this week.
We took four pieces of fresh bread, with the following:
not touched by human handshandled by dirty handshandled after using hand sanitiserhandled by thoroughly cleaned handsThen we placed them in sealed glass jars and tucked then away in a warm, dark space for two weeks.
If your children have already carried out the experiment and are now waiting for the designated two weeks, then they will get to see the results for themselves.
If not, then enjoy the finale which reveals the winning piece of bread that turns out to be the biggest mould factory of them all!
