Hello to all on the Moree Plains,
Well, we are halfway through our lockdown, and I thank every one of you who are taking this lockdown seriously, as the sooner COVID infections in NSW reduce the sooner we can get back to our families and loved ones. No one wants to have an outbreak here, so continue to stay sanitised, masked, distanced, and patient. We must not lose sight of a less restricted future, full of hope and sunshine, and we need to be very aware not to get too down emotionally. Take advantage of a good sleep-in where possible, and there is no crime in smiling behind your mask as your eyes send a message of warmth. Our reward will be staying well and hopefully COVID-free, and that is reason enough to cope with this (hopefully not too long) lockdown. Love and strength to you all, no matter where you live or what your circumstances are.
Kind Regards, Mayor Katrina Humphries Moree Plains Shire Council
