About the Position:

An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent part-time Customer Administration Officer to join our Water & Waste Directorate, based in Moranbah. Reporting to the Manager Business Services, the Customer Administration Officer position provides customer service, administrative and financial support to the Water & Waste Directorate of Isaac Regional Council.

The Customer Administration Officer will proficiently support the Water & Waste Directorate in providing and maintaining high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders whilst positively contributing to operational success through the provision of procurement, works allocation and administrative services.

For this position we offer:

Nominally 18 hours per week; 8.30am – 5pm Monday, 9am – 2.30pm Tuesday & Wednesday (additional hours may be required on occasion); $32.29 - $35.47 per hour (Level 2 -Level 3, Stream A); 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading pro-rata; 12% super (in accordance with policy).

About You:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Administration Officer who possesses:

Certificate III qualifications in Administration/Business, or equivalent level of expertise and experience. Five (5) years relevant experience within a fast paced administrative and customer service environment. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal departments and external stakeholders. High-level administrative skills, including previous experience in word processing, spread sheeting, data entry, drafting of correspondence, photocopying and general office duties. Good organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities and workflows.
