An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full-time Labourer to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Clermont.

Reporting to the Overseer Construction Infrastructure this position is responsible for the labouring duties and service of plant, for construction, maintenance and works.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Demonstrated experience as labourer in the civil construction industry or similar. Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics and general maintenance as required. Experience in road construction activities and similar is essential. Previous experience with maintaining small plant equipment, such that repair works and downtime are minimised. C Class Australian Drivers Licence. Blue/White Card.

BENEFITS:

Salary $51,636.78 - $ 52,672.99 per annum + Locality Allowance + Construction Workers allowance. Nominally 38 hours per week (3 x 10-hour days and 1 x 8-hour day, Monday - Thursday) 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading. 12% super in accordance with Council policy. RDO’s in accordance with Council policy.
