The Brimbank Business Grants Program will provide funding to businesses in the Brimbank municipality in response to COVID-19. It has been designed to support start-up and small businesses who are located in the Brimbank Municipality for business strengthening and capacity building.
FUNDING STREAMS
Council has allocated a total of $200,000 to the Business Grants Program, across two streams of funding:
Small Business Grants (up to $10,000)
For businesses over 12 months old who:
• are seeking support in responding to COVID-related challenges, or
• have the ability to grow and support the local economy
Start-up Microgrants (up to $2,000)
Note, not specifically covered by this session, however applicants are welcome to attend to learn more about grants.
For new and emerging businesses that are 0-12 months old to help with the cost of:
• fees and registrations, and
• equipment

- An overview of the program - What we’re looking for in your application - How to apply - Application form walkthrough, including how assessment works and tips on how to make your application stand out - Reporting requirements, including a look at the report form. - There will be plenty of time for questions throughout the session.
How the session will be delivered
The session will be run via Zoom, and will be recorded for those who can’t attend. Your voice and messages in the chat will not be used in the published version of the session. For the recording, we may include the answers to your questions, but will not use your name. You will be emailed the zoom link prior to the session.
