Home Library volunteers connect with clients while staying apart

Many of our Home Library Service volunteers and clients have developed friendships and they’re missing each other during lockdown.
Our volunteers have been temporarily stood down for their own safety while Library staff continue to run a contactless Home Library service.
Even though they can’t visit in-person, our volunteers are still helping to brighten their client’s days with handwritten letters to them. The volunteers have created beautiful letters for the clients with individual messages ensuring that they remain in touch. The letters will be delivered to Home Library clients in their next delivery.
