Faced with one of the toughest years on record, the youth of the Snowy Monaro led by example in 2020 and showed us that even in the darkest of times, you can always find helpers, dreamers, achievers, and signs of hope.

While it was sadly impossible to host the awards ceremony in person this year to celebrate the many achievements of our region’s youth over the 12 months of 2020, the nomination and voting process still went ahead as planned.

There were dozens of nominees across 12 categories for the 2020 awards, and with the winners notified and certificates on their way, Snowy Monaro Regional Council wants to take this opportunity to congratulate all our youth – from the highest academic achievers, to those that had to struggle every day just to make it through the year – your strength and resilience is an inspiration to all of us.
